Interior Design Group was invited to team with Freese & Nichols on a new LEED platinum project on TCCD’s south campus. The Energy and Technology Center’s mission was to educate on the maintenance of both current and renewable power sources. The school asked the designers to expose the color-coded mechanical structure, use recycled natural materials. The “Sticky Spaces” were made bright and colorful to encourage the students to remain in the building between classes, to socialize and collaborate.
